LET'S PARQ - PUBLIC PARKING GARAGE
Academic Project - LVL 2, Faculty of Architecture - University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka
The main intention of this project is to encourage people to use public parking spaces because public parking getting empty in Sri Lanka. People used to park their vehicles on roadsides which causes traffic congestion and accidents. First I identified the main issues with existing parking buildings and the reasons for people's negative impact on them. Then I come up with solutions through my design.
The site - existing parking building site in Wallawatta, Sri Lanka which lies in front of Galle- Colombo main road.
